NUS Business School and Chicago Booth launch new executive series

SINGAPORE - The National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School has announced that it will team up with the University of Chicago Booth School of Business (Chicago Booth) to strengthen the emerging pool of chief financial officers (CFOs) here through a new course.

As Chicago Booth's first alliance with an Asian university, the new series of programmes will be named the Asia Executive Series, and is aimed at senior business leaders.

Starting in November 2015, the programme will kick off with the intensive one-week 'Asia Executive Series: Emerging CFOs for Asia' programme, which opens for applications today.

It will examine the fragility of the finance sector and regulations, while developing leadership skills and strategic thinking on innovation, fund sourcing, and risk management.

The course will feature leading academics such as Randy Koszner, Governor of the United States Federal Reserve from 2006-2009, and Professor David Reeb, one of the world's most influential and heavily-cited experts on family business ownership.
