One Singaporean on board missing AirAsia flight QZ8501

AirAsia has informed the Civil Authority of Singapore that one Singaporean is among the passengers on board the missingh flight, QZ8501.

The CAAS said an area has been set up for relatives at Changi Airport Terminal 2. 

Statement from Civil Authority of Singapore:

Indonesia AirAsia has advised that one Singaporean is on board the missing flight, QZ8501. We have already made contact with the relatives of the Singaporean and are providing them with all necessary assistance and support.

A Relatives' Area (RA) at Changi Airport Terminal 2 has been set up to provide assistance to next-of-kin (NOK) of passengers onboard. NOKs are advised to go to the information counter located in the middle of Terminal 2 Arrival Hall (Level 1).

Relatives of a few of the passengers are in the RA and have been provided with all necessary support.
