Part of Orchard Road to close for 3rd Pedestrian Night

SINGAPORE - A stretch of Orchard Road will be closed this Saturday from 6pm to 11pm for the third Pedestrian Night.

Both Orchard Road, between Scotts Road and Bideford Road, as well as the carriageway of Mount Elizabeth in the direction of Orchard Road, between Nutmeg Road and Orchard Road, will be closed to vehicular traffic for the Celebrate! Tourism50 event.

Access will only be granted to police and emergency vehicles. Parking restrictions along the peripheral roads will be strictly enforced. Vehicles found parking and causing obstruction will be towed away.

Organised by the Orchard Road Business Association and supported by Singapore Tourism Board, Pedestrian Night takes place for five hours on every first Saturday of the month. It will run until March next year.
