SINGAPORE - Train services along the Bukit Panjang LRT were disrupted Monday evening. Pictures of passengers walking along the tracks were quickly shared on social media.
In a tweet at 7.20pm, operator SMRT said there would be an additional 20 minutes of travelling time on the Bukit Panjang LRT.
Thereafter, it gave an update on how LRT was running only on Service B due to a train fault.
During the disruption, more photos appeared on social media that also showed a number of stalled LRT carriages lined up in a row.
Finally at 8.15pm, SMRT tweeted: "CLEARED: Normal train service resumed on the BPLRT."
