Pearls Centre murder: Two more charged

Two more Malaysians were charged yesterday with the murder of a cleaner at a multi-storey carpark at Pearls Centre. This brings the total number of accused to four.

Ananthan Muniandy, 20, and Kirubakaran Manikumaran, 22, were arrested by police in Malaysia on Tuesday.

Together with Sunder Rangasamy, 27, and Thiagu Muniandy, 23, they are charged with murdering Malaysian S. Krisnan Value, 47, between 12.37am and 1.13am on Sunday.

Mr Krisnan's body was found lying at an abandoned section of the carpark on the 11th storey of the building in Eu Tong Sen Street. Both Ananthan and Kirubakaran will be remanded at Central Police Division for further investigations. All four will appear in court on Tuesday.
