SINGAPORE - Stomp contributor Adeline said a chunk of a plant on the 11th storey of her block at Serangoon Avenue 2 broke off and nearly hit her son who was walking on the ground level.
The Stomp contributor said the impact of the plant falling from the 11th storey could potentially hurt someone.
In a phone conversation with Stomp, the Stomp contributor said:
"We were walking from a coffee shop to our flat at Block 319, Serangoon Avenue 2 yesterday (Sep 5) at about 11.45am when a chunk of a plant fell and almost hit my 13-year-old son.
"Had he been just two steps faster, it would have hit him on the head.
"I looked up and saw a plant on the 11th storey of the block that was growing out of the corridor.
"I also went up to the level to see, and saw that a chunk of that plant on the 11th storey had broken off.
"Something should be done about this as it is potentially dangerous.
"Just imagine it falling from the 11th storey, the impact can hurt someone.
"I've informed the Town Council and I am awaiting their reply."
