The Singapore Squash Rackets Association (SSRA) has elected Dr Woffles Wu as its new president.
The national sports association held elections during its annual general meeting at Construction House in Bukit Merah on Monday where the renowned plastic surgeon was elected unopposed.
Dr Wu, who has played other sports like football, bowling and snooker, takes over from long-serving president Desmond Hill, who returned to the helm of the SSRA for a second spell in 2005. His new term will run for two years before the SSRA's next election in 2015.
