PM Lee and wife to attend wedding of Johor royals on Nov 8

SINGAPORE - Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and his wife will visit Johor on Nov 8 to attend the wedding of the Tunku Mahkota of Johor, His Royal Highness Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, and Che' Puan Khaleeda Bustamam, a statement released today by the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) said.
The couple have been invited to attend the wedding ceremony and banquet by the Sultan of Johor, His Royal Highness Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, and Her Royal Highness Raja Zarith Sofiah.
The PMO said that PM Lee's visit reflects the close friendship and warm ties between Singapore and Johor.
