PM's National Day Rally on TV, radio and online

SINGAPORE - Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will deliver his National Day Rally speech at ITE Headquarters and College Central on Sunday and is expected to speak on retirement adequacy and creating more opportunities for Singaporeans to pursue their dreams.

The rally starts at 6.45pm with Mr Lee speaking in Malay, then Mandarin. There will be a 30-minute break before his address in English at 8pm. The rally will be streamed live online, on the Prime Minister's Office's (PMO) YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/pmosingapore), the office said in a statement yesterday. It will also be broadcast live on local television channels and radio stations, and streamed live on the website of Reach, the Government's feedback arm (www.reach.gov.sg/ndr2014).

There will also be live updates on Mr Lee's Facebook (www.facebook.com/leehsienloong) and Twitter account (www.twitter.com/leehsienloong). Twitter and Facebook users can share their comments using the hashtag #ndrsg. Reach will also provide opportunities on its website and Facebook page (www.facebook.com/REACHSingapore) for feedback, and during radio talk shows and dialogues.

Those who miss the live broadcast can view it on the PMO's YouTube channel from Aug 18.
