A car in an open-air carpark was found with a bamboo pole poking through its glass moonroof yesterday morning.

It is understood that the pole came from a Housing Board unit at Block 107, Ang Mo Kio Avenue 4.

Police said they received a call at 10.21am and established that the case was one of a "negligent act".

A 30-year-old man has been arrested in relation to the case and investigations are ongoing.

Stomp contributor Sam, who saw the car, said residents "should be more careful" with their poles if they leave them outside.
