SINGAPORE - About 15 police-officers, including several in plainclothes, were at a block of flats in Strathmore Avenue investigating the death of a man, believed to have fallen from height on Thursday morning.

SINGAPORE - A total of fifteen officers arrived at the scene to investigate the mysterious death that occurred at a HDB flat in Queenstown estate Thursday morning.
At around 11am, the body of a man was found at the landing of at a HDB flat at Strathmore Avenue. Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) personnel arrived at the scene at around 11.26am, and declared the man dead.
A large group of police officers arrived, reported Lianhe Wanbao, and immediately cordoned off the area. Six hours later, the officers were still performing ground investigations and the atmosphere was tense. A number of residents have also turned up at the scene to find out what had happened.
According to an on-site reporter, the officers were seen rummaging the garbage area and they have also blocked off the HDB elevator, providing access only to the residents.
The case is still under investigation.
