Potential for 2,350 homes at 4 sites

Four residential sites are being released under the Government Land Sales Programme for the second half of this year.

Together, they can yield about 2,350 units, and provide developers and home-buyers with more choices in private housing, the Housing Board and the Urban Redevelopment Authority said in a joint statement on Monday.

One land parcel at Upper Paya Lebar Road is expected to provide 670 private homes. Another 1,145 units are expected to come up at two sites at Canberra Drive and Anchorvale Crescent, which are meant for executive condominium (EC) developments.

These three land parcels were launched for sale under the Confirmed List on Monday.

The fourth site, at Choa Chu Kang Drive, is also for EC development. It is for sale under the Reserve List, and is expected to yield 535 units.
