President Tan on private overseas visit

SINGAPORE - President Tony Tan Keng Yam will be making a private overseas visit from Sep 26 to Oct 2.
Mr J Y Pillay, Chairman of the Council of Presidential Advisers will exercise the functions of the office of the President on Sep 26 and from Sep 28 to Oct 2.
Speaker of Parliament Madam Halimah Yacob will exercise the functions of the Office of the President on Sep 27.
