SINGAPORE - The updated voter rolls for the next general election are now open for inspection.

The Elections Department (ELD) said in a statement today (July 27) that there are 2,460,977 electors in the register.

Singapore citizens can check their particulars in the rolls online (at, at community centres and community clubs, at Singapore overseas missions that serve as overseas registration centres, and at the Elections Department.

Those who had their names removed from the registers, officially known as the Registers of Electors, for failing to vote previously are urged to apply early to restore their names so that they can vote in the coming election. Application to restore names will close with the issue of the Writ of Election, ELD said in the statement.

Overseas Singaporeans who are eligible to vote and wish to do so are also encouraged to register as overseas voters early.
