SINGAPORE - The Registers of Electors, also known as the lists of Singaporeans eligible to vote at the next general election, have been revised and are open for public inspection from tomorrow to March 9, 2015, said the Elections Department (ELD) on Monday.

The revised registers will contain the names of all qualified electors as of Feb 1, 2015.

In addition, there will be a new polling station in Dubai. The Consulate-General of the Republic of Singapore in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai) has been designated as an overseas polling station for future elections. This brings the total number of overseas polling stations to 10.

The other overseas registration centres are in New York, Washington DC, San Francisco, London, Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Canberra.

Updating the Registers of Electors, or voter rolls, is an exercise to keep them up to date, the ELD said.
