RSAF marks 45th anniversary

The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) celebrated its 45th anniversary at a parade officiated by Chief of Air Force Hoo Cher Mou on Sunday morning.

Speaking at the parade, Major-General Hoo reiterated the RSAF's commitment towards national defence. He said: "While we cannot know for certain what the future might bring, the building blocks of our success are in place and they will not change: unflinching dedication to mission, utmost professionalism, commitment to one another, and absolute loyalty to Singapore."

Also present was Chief of Defence Force, Lieutenant-General Ng Chee Meng. Members of the public also attended the parade at Tengah Air Base as part of the RSAF's Community Outreach Programme. In a statement, Mindef noted the RSAF has completed its restructuring into six Operational Commands as well as enhanced its capabilities with new platforms, cutting-edge technologies and war-fighting concepts.
