Runners 'shine' at this year's Color Run

SINGAPORE - Some runners at the Color Run in Sentosa over the weekend ended the run "shinier" this year - thanks to new "shine" colour zones that covered runners in coloured glitter powder.

The run, which took place on Saturday and Sunday, was the third one in Singapore.

There were previously concerns about the powder used in the run after the water park fire in Taiwan that killed 11 and injured over 500. But the Singapore Civil Defence Force and police approved permits for the run later.
