The Singapore Armed Forces will be conducting military training in Seletar, Marsiling, Jalan Bahar, Neo Tiew, Lim Chu Kang, Jalan Kwok Min, Tuas, Upper Jurong, HOng Kah, Ama Keng, Bedok Jetty, Kranji, Lentor, Simpang, Sembawang, and Mandai from Monday morning, it said in a statement.
It said that blanks and thunderflashes will be used, and the public is asked to not be alarmed and to stay away from those areas.
The exercise will be from 8am on Monday until 8am the following Monday, Jun 23.
The SAF will also be conducting live-firing exercises in the Pasir Laba (SAFTI) Live Firing Area during that time. Sea vessels and crafts in the Western Johor Straits are warned not to stray in the Live Firing Boundary.
From Monday to next Saturday, the Air Force will be conducting live-firing exercises around Pulau Sudong, Pulau Pawai and Pulau Senang.
