SINGAPORE - A night out at Clarke Quay left a 37-year-old woman with a scar on her cheek after she was attacked by another reveller.
The woman, who wants to be known only as Vivi, told Stomp about the incident, which happened at Mandopop club Shanghai Dolly on Saturday at around 2am.
"A guy approached me and when I ignored him, he poured alcohol in my face and smashed a glass on my face.
"When my friend shouted at the guy, his friend slapped her," she told Stomp over the phone.
Bleeding, she was escorted out of the club by a bouncer and her friend, and was taken to hospital, where police took her statement.
The police said they were called to Clarke Quay at 2.27am on Saturday, and that "a dispute" had occurred. They are investigating the case.
The dispute happened in the VIP section of Shanghai Dolly, club manager Gordon told Lianhe Wanbao.
He declined to give more details as the case is under investigation.
It is understood that both Vivi and her attacker were regulars at the club, Wanbao said.
Vivi added that she has to go for plastic surgery because of her injuries.
She declined to be interviewed by other media.
