SINGAPORE - Senior Counsel Lok Vi Ming has been re-elected president of the Law Society for a second year term, the society said in a statement on Wednesday.

On his re-election, Mr Lok said: "I am honoured to be again entrusted with the responsibility of leading the Council of the Law Society. The task is a challenging one, but I am encouraged and fortified by the knowledge that the men and women who will be serving with me on Council are a great bunch of committed and talented lawyers who are passionate for the Profession." Senior Counsel Thio Shen Yi and Mr Kelvin Wong were announced as Vice Presidents, while Mr Gregory Vijayendran will serve as Treasurer of the self-regulatory body of practicing lawyers in Singapore.
