Singapore Art Museum launches contemporary art exhibition for children

SINGAPORE - The Singapore Art Museum (SAM) has launched a contemporary art exhibition for children.

Held from now till July 19, the exhibition titled Imaginarium: A Voyage of Big Ideas, is inspired by the crescent moon on the Singapore flag.

Imaginarium focuses on the themes of adventure, discovery, new possibilities, and 'Big Ideas', and encourages visitors of all ages to wonder and explore, while cultivating an appreciation for contemporary art.

Featuring both emerging and established artists from Singapore and the region, the annual exhibition presents fresh new commissions that will captivate both the young and the young-at-heart.

These artworks range from poetic works to interactive installations, requiring visitors' active participation to complete or enhance the artwork.
