SINGAPORE - A fire at a crude distillation unit (CDU) at the Singapore Refinery Company's facility on Jurong Island has been put out, two sources with knowledge of the matter said on Tuesday.
The fire broke out on Tuesday morning at the company's No. 1 CDU, which has a capacity of 80,000 barrels per day, the sources said.
No-one was hurt and the rest of the 290,000-bpd refinery continued operating, they said.
The company did not comment when reached by Reuters.
