SINGAPORE - A new Safra recreation club will open in Punggol in April this year and it will house Singapore's first indoor water playground.

This was revealed when Mr Ong Ye Kung, Senior Minister of State for Defence and President of Safra, visited the site on Thursday (Jan 14).

When it is opened, it will serve more than 80,000 NSmen living in the North-East region of Singapore.

The indoor water playground, spanning 23,000 sq ft and three storeys, will feature eight play decks, five slides, a themed splash pad and connecting party rooms to host events.

It will also be the first Safra club to have cycling and rollerblading kiosk, conveniently located near the Punggol Park Connector Network, where patrons can easily rent bicycles and roller blades.

The club will hold its soft opening on April 24 where members can enjoy complimentary access to selected facilities and special discounts at participating merchants.
