The Singapore Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Law and Ministry of Education, Indranee Rajah paid a courtesy call to the Attorney General Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Paduka Hjh Hayati POKSDSP Hj Mohd Salleh yesterday at the Law Building in the Capital.
The visit represented an opportunity for a good exchange of information and discussion on areas of common concern, among others.
"These included the continuation of enhancing capacity of officers at the Attorney General's Chambers (AGC), Brunei through placement or training at the Attorney General's Chambers in Singapore," a statement issued by AGC noted.
Also present at the event were Solicitor General, Naimah Md Ali, Senior Officials of AGC as well as Singaporean counterparts.
During the courtesy call, YB Datin Hjh Hayati and Indranee Rajah exchanged gifts after a cordial and fruitful conversation among the prominent attendees.
The discussions continued later on in a closed-door session.
The Singapore's Senior Minister of State for Law and Education was flown to the Sultanate to accompany the Singapore's Deputy Prime Minister during his three-day visit to Brunei Darussalam to reaffirm strong ties between both parties as well as on behalf of the Singapore Young Leaders' Programme, aimed at sustaining the close relationships and cooperations between Brunei and Singapore to the next generation.
Indranee Rajah took part on yesterday's morning walk held at the Tasek Lama Recreational Park, where she exchanged cordial conversation with Brunei's goverment officials, to support in enhancing bilateral ties.
