CHINA- The body of a Hong Kong flight attendant was discovered inside her bedroom wardrobe several days after her death - while her family lived in the same house.
The police are now looking for her former boyfriend, a 25-year-old jobless man who is believed to have left the city, reported the South China Morning Post.
The woman has been identified by the Dragon Airlines Flight Attendants Association as Dragonair employee Arbe Chan, 26.
She was discovered by her father in her bedroom wardrobe, and was wearing a pajama top and panties.
Her younger sister slept close to the corpse, reported Hong Kong's The Standard.
Assistant commander of crime in Tsuen Wan district, Mr Eric Ho, said Miss Chan's body was placed inside the wardrobe, with some items covering it.
"We believe she had been dead for two to three days.
"She might have been killed by someone she knew," he said.
Mr Ho said some items had been placed under and on top of Miss Chan's body, so her family took several days to discover the body.
Miss Chan lived with her parents and sister in the flat.
"The body had just started to decompose and so there was not much of a smell yet," Mr Ho said.
