Sisters on their way to wedding among 5 killed in Johor crash

Five people were killed and a sixth was injured when two cars collided on the Johor Baru-Mersing road near Kota Tinggi on Thursday night, Malaysian media reports said.

Kota Tinggi police said Ms Rosmah Muda, 28, who was driving a Perodua Kenari, and her sister Fatimah, 24, were killed. Another sister, Nur Shafiqah, 14, was admitted to the Kota Tinggi Hospital with serious injuries.

The three sisters, from Endau, near Mersing, were on their way to help with the bridal make-up for a wedding.

The others killed were three men in their 20s.

They were in a Proton Wira, driving back after dinner in Kota Tinggi when the accident happened at 10.40pm.
