SINGAPORE - The Singapore Land Authority (SLA) is holding a public consultation to gather feedback on the possible uses for land under viaducts.
The public can submit feedback on the SLA website from now till May 20.
"There is much potential for spaces under the flyovers and MRT/LRT tracks to be creatively optimised for a variety of uses," a spokesman for SLA said in a statement on Wednesday.
For example, a futsal facility was built under the Thomson flyover.
SLA said it will explore installing basic amenities like water and electricity in these unused spaces which are usually between 3,000 square metres to 6,000 square metres in size.
