Smugglers hide contraband cigarettes in cemetery

Harian Metro reported that cigarette smugglers had been using a cemetery near Pontian to hide their contraband.

A raid by marine police at Kampung Jelutung Chinese cemetery saw authorities seizing some 640 cartons of cigarettes worth RM6,000 (S$2273).

However, Johor (Territory 2) marine police group commander Asst Comm Paul Khiu Khon Chiang said no arrests were made during the 6.30pm raid on Monday.
