PETALING JAYA - A 15-year-old student was drugged and believed to have been raped by her boyfriend before being dumped at an open-air car park beside Muzium Negara.
Passers-by found her at about 9am on Sunday and took her to the Dang Wangi police station where she lodged a report.
In her report, the student said her boyfriend named Alim contacted her and asked to take her out for a spin on his motorcycle at about 12.45am.
The couple rode around Dataran Shah Alam till 4.45am, after which Alim brought the girl to his rented home in SS15/4C, Subang Jaya.
Subang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Yahaya Ramli said a male friend of Alim's was in the house at that time.
"The student said she was with them in the living room and was given a cup of water by her boyfriend, after which she felt dizzy and blacked out.
"She woke up at 7am and asked to be sent home," he said, adding that the student said Alim took her to Muzium Negara and left her in the car park area.
Investigations revealed that the 15-year-old had been raped.
ACP Yahaya said police arrested a suspect yesterday for questioning, adding that another youth by the name of Along was being sought to help in investigations.
On Nov 12, a 16-year-old girl was gang-raped by five men while her boyfriend looked on at a lake near Desa Idaman.
The victim had gone out on a motorcycle with her boyfriend, who is a Myanmar national.
Four suspects, aged 17 to 21, have been arrested.
Police are still looking for a fifth suspect and the boyfriend.
