SINGAPORE - Senior Minister of State for Education and Law Indranee Rajah added that recent studies have shed light on how students' emotions are intertwined with their motivation and cognition. She added that those who believe they can achieve anything and also look at themselves positively tend to be "more deeply engaged in their learning" and have "greater persistence".
