FROM today, subscribers of The New Paper (TNP) can get an all-in-one package of the newspaper on the print, online and smartphone platforms.
The digital offering includes the new TNP interactive ePaper, which provides additional content like photos, videos and updates for breaking news. The price for the whole bundle is $24.10, excluding delivery charges.
The new offer comes three weeks after TNP launched its iOS and Android apps. Since then, there have been more than 20,000 downloads of its apps, topping the iTunes Free Apps chart and achieving top three placing in the Android Free Apps chart.
The free trial for both apps ended at midnight yesterday, leaving the daily news summaries and digital-only stories free for all to access.
Besides the all-in-one package, other subscription options are the print package ($20.10 monthly, excluding delivery charges), the online only package ($22.10 monthly) and the smartphone package ($22.10 monthly).
To subscribe, readers may go to www.tnpsub.sg or call 6388-3838 between 8.30am and 6pm on weekdays.
Mr Patrick Daniel, editor-in-chief of Singapore Press Holdings' English and Malay Newspapers Division, said he was pleased TNP has joined The Straits Times, The Business Times and Berita Harian in rolling out multi-platform paid editions.
Until July 27, subscribers will be eligible for a draw to win a 2013 Harley-Davidson Sportster Seventy-Two XL1200V worth $27,000 (without COE and insurance).
Readers who buy a one-year subscription will get a gift of either a pair of Monster NCredible N-Ergy In-Ear headphones or a Lomo Konstrucktor DIY Camera Kit.
People who take up a two-year subscription can choose between a pair of Monster NCredible N-Tune On-Ear headphones or a Sony Smartwatch 2.
