PETALING JAYA- The Selayang Municipal Council sacked suspected militant Muhammad Joraimee Awang Raimee, 39, on May 27 after he failed to turn up to work for 24 days.
According to a council statement, Muhammad Joraimee started working as a contracted administrative officer on Apr 18, 2011 and held the position of division chief.
He was absent without permission from Apr 29 to Apr 30 and May 2 to May 26.
During his absence, the council tried contacting him through phone and e-mail, but to no avail.
He could also not be reached at his home address or through his family.
