He had sex with three underage girls. At that time, Samsudin Abdullah was just 18.

Court papers said Samsudin got to know his first girlfriend when they were living in a home for at-risk youths. In December 2013, they arranged to meet at Lakeside MRT station.
When he got there, he found the 14-year-old girl sniffing glue in a handicapped toilet at Lakeside Park. It was also in the toilet where she performed oral sex on him before they had sex for 15 minutes. They had sex again the following September. It is an offence to have sex with a girl under 16, even if she consents.
Samsudin also had sex with two other girls, aged 13 and 15, at his home between July 2013 and May 2014.
District Judge Matthew Joseph said Samsudin was found to be at high risk of re-offending and needed a place that would instill discipline in him.
