Thai woman nabbed with meth worth $118,000 disguised as laptop PSUs

ALOR SETAR: A Thai national was nabbed with syabu worth over RM300,000 (S$118,000) by the Kedah police.

The woman in her 30s was behaving suspiciously at the Changlun bus station before a team of police inspected her luggage at about 3.30pm on Wednesday.

"We found more than 40 laptop power supply unit (PSU) in the luggage.

"Due to the difference in the weigh of the PSU, we found more than half of it contained compressed syabu," said Kedah police chief Senior DCP Datuk Ahmad Ibrahim in a press conference on Thursday.
