Themed parties a hit on Club Stomp

It's official - themed parties are a hit with clubbers in Singapore.

From costumed dance- offs to glitzy masquerades, such events are now a mainstay of the local party scene.

And where there's a party, you can be sure to find Club STOMP, bringing you front-seat, all-access coverage of Singapore's vibrant nightlife.

Each week, Club STOMP's roving photographers capture the best memories from the most happening parties islandwide.

There were certainly fond memories aplenty at the All Babes Cineleisure Dance Battle, where limber dancers showed off their grooviest moves for the champion title in the solo and group categories.

Dressed in flashy, matching numbers, the girls danced their hearts out at Cathay Cineleisure, hoping to win the favour of the judges and audience.

But if vibrant dance steps and cheering crowds aren't your cup of tea, perhaps a masquerade will whet your appetite for fun.

Marina Bay's Avalon played host to scores of revellers decked out in masks and pure white at the White Masquerade Party. The anonymity added a touch of mystery to the party, allowing total strangers to mingle with ease.

In contrast, it was a dress-up of a very different kind at Clarke Quay's Highlander Bar and Restaurant. Guests and performers clad in vivid neon lit up the evening at the Glow in the Dark party.
