Transport firm owner shot dead at point blank range

KAJANG, Malaysia - A transport company owner was shot dead while having supper at a restaurant at Taman Kajang Prima here late Tuesday.

Two men on a motorcycle had arrived at the restaurant at 11pm while the victim, believed to be in his 30s, was eating. The pillion rider got off the machine, walked to the man and fired from a pistol.

A restaurant worker said he heard two shots fired before seeing the victim fall to the ground.

Police said the case has been classified as murder.
