SINGAPORE - Changi Airport, the Port of Singapore (PSA), the public transport sector as well as many other parts of Singapore's transport sector will stop work and operations at 4pm to observe a minute of silence, said the Ministry of Transport in a statement today.

Passenger information displays will be available within the MRT network and bus interchanges will show "One minute of silence for Mr Lee Kuan Yew". There will also be announcements made at stations and onboard trains.

All MRT and road work sites will halt temporarily so as to observe the minute of silence.
