Two arrested for stealing motorised bicycles at Jurong West

SINGAPORE - Police have arrested two suspects, aged 16 and 24, for their suspected involvement in the theft of motorised bicycles at Jurong West Street 93.

Police received a call this morning at 5.40am, informing them that two young men were stealing motorised bicycles. They were believed to be dismantling two bicycles when the police arrived and were subsequently arrested.

They will be charged in court tomorrow for theft. If found guilty, they may be imprisoned for up to three years, fined or face both punishments.
