Undergrad's body found

The body of the undergraduate who went missing in the sea off Changi on Sunday afternoon has been found.

Mr Goh Chuan Kiet, 23, a first-year business degree student with the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology at Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) had set off with about 15 members of the SIM Windsurfing Club on Sunday when he went missing.

After an extensive search lasting more than 48 hours, his body was recovered by the police.

A police spokesman said they received a call for help on Tuesday at about 6.20pm. When they arrived at the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal, they found Mr Goh's body floating in the waters.

They are investigating the unnatural death.

The Straits Times Online reported that Mr Goh's body was identified by his family members Wednesday.

They declined comment when approached.
