Underwear thief publicly shamed

Reports are circulating online of an alleged underwear thief being publicly shamed by a group of women after getting caught red-handed.

Mirror and Metro reported that Chan Chun Chee, 32, was forced to walk around a block of flats with bras and underwear hanging from his neck.

Although some articles reported that the incident took place in Singapore, another source states that it actually occurred in Malaysia.

Residents had reportedly laid a trap to catch the thief by arranging for a woman to leave some of her freshly-washed underwear by an open window to dry. This was after a spate of kinky thefts were reported in the neighbourhood.

Teo Goh, 56, had told the online papers: "He came at around midnight and as soon as he was in the room we grabbed him, forced him to wear the girl's lingeries and then frog-marched him from door to door making him confess what he had done and to promise he would never do it again."
