UNDP Administrator calls on PM Lee, ESM Goh

SINGAPORE - The Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), The Right Honourable Helen Clark called on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Emeritus Senior Minister (ESM) Goh Chok Tong today.

Ms Clark was in Singapore to attend the 2014 World Cities Summit.

With PM Lee, she discussed ways to further enhance cooperation between Singapore and the UNDP, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement. Both of them agreed that the UNDP Global Centre for Public Service Excellence, established in Singapore in 2012, was doing well.

Ms Clark updated ESM Goh on the work of the UNDP, while he expressed appreciation for the UNDP's role in facilitating sustainable development.
