Vote for favourite brands, and win prizes

Voting has opened for the annual AsiaOne People's Choice Awards till the end of this month.

Members of the public who enter their particulars during voting can qualify for the weekly lucky draw, where there will be more than $4,000 worth of shopping vouchers and prizes to be won.

Award winners will be announced in the first quarter of this year.

The awards, now in their seventh year, comprise 27 categories covering industries such as food and beverage, shopping, beauty, fitness and travel.

There are also two new categories this year: Best Online Retailer and Best Brunch Restaurant, which are the result of popular requests by readers during last year's voting phase.

More than 200,000 votes were cast by the public in last year's awards, with 300 brands contesting in 27 categories to be recognised as Singapore's favourite choice.

"Recent events have shown how easy it is for people to go online and express their unhappiness against unfair trade practices," said AsiaOne editor Adrian Tay. "It should be just as easy for people to acknowledge and praise brands and products that have proven to be the best in their respective areas."
