Volunteer for the Visayans (VFV)is a non-profit, non-government organisation based in Tacloban City in the Philippines.
It aims to help underprivileged communities by providing them with social welfare services in areas such as child welfare, community development, education and public health. VFV has donation-funded projects to build schools in rural areas and houses for low-income families and also provide school supplies to underfunded schools in the Visayas region, one of the three principal geographical divisions of the Philippines.
VFV also has volunteer abroad programmes where volunteers can help street kids or disadvantaged children or even teach in rural schools.
