Wild Wild Wet sets record for new ride

Singapore's Wild Wild Wet has just set the record for the most number of Torpedo rides in an hour.
At the event held on Saturday morning, 106 participants zipped through a heart-racing free fall from the launch pad, taking only 7 seconds through the 80-metre ride.
With a tower height of 18.7 metres, the drop for the theme park's newest ride is equivalent to about 6 storeys.
At the end of the hour, the Singapore Book of Records presented the certification to Mr Benny Lee, Director (Themepark), NTUC Club amid fanfare.
