SINGAPORE - A woman, who is believed to have taken part in vice activities, has been arrested for allegedly trying to bribe a police officer with $10,000.
According to the police, officers conducted a check on the 42-year-old woman during an enforcement operation at Middle Road on April 14.
She is alleged to have repeatedly offered an assistant superintendent $10,000 to let her go. The officer rejected the bribe and arrested her for attempting to bribe a police officer.
She is also being investigated for suspected involvement in vice activities under the provisions of the Women's Charter.
