Woman pinned by fallen tree branch at Bendemeer Road

Singapore - A female pedestrian was trapped under a fallen tree branch at Bendemeer Road, opposite the Hyflux building on Thursday morning.

Contributors to citizen journalism website Stomp said that the woman, who was pinned by the tree branch, looked injured but was conscious.

According to one of the contributors, Dzulkiflee, the woman's feet were moving.

"A red car passing by stopped and rendered assistance."

"An ambulance arrived a few minutes later and took her away," Dzulkiflee said.

According to the Singapore Civil Defence Force, a call was received at 9.46am on Thursday. The woman was conveyed to Tan Tock Seng hospital by ambulance.
