Yishun Ring Road resident dies from dengue fever

SINGAPORE - The Ministry of Health and the National Environment Agency said on Monday that they had been notified of the death of a dengue patient who lived at Yishun Ring Road.

The 35-year-old Chinese woman went to the Khoo Teck Puat Hospital Emergency Department last Saturday and was diagnosed with dengue fever and admitted.

Her condition deteriorated soon after and she died on Monday. This is the sixth local dengue death case this year.
