SINGAPORE - More than 900 students learnt about water conservation through games at the fifth Singapore International Water Festival (SIWF) at the Marina Barrage on Saturday morning.

Jointly organised by Singapore Polytechnic (SP) and PUB, SIWF encourages greater awareness of and action on water conservation among youth.
It was held for the fifth year in support of Singapore International Water Week.
This year, Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for the Environment and Water Resources was present as the Guest-of-Honour.
Students came together to take part in a series of water-themed games in the Wonders of Water (WoW) Challenge. In addition to the WoW Challenge, a bevy of other activities such as the Walk-on-Water Competition, the Dragon Boat, Raft, and Solar Boat Races, as well as Art Competition and Carnival Stalls marked an afternoon of fun at the festival.
