Apple's iPhone 3G is AsiaOne's gadget of the year, earning more than half of the total votes cast.
The smartphone, which was released in some 70 countries worldwide since July 2008, made the much coveted gadget available to many more markets compared to the first generation gadget.

In third place is the Nokia E71. Smartphones seem to be a favourite among AsiaOne's readers, with two of the top three places going to devices in its class.
The Nokia E71 received rave reviews when it was released in July 2008. Critics loved it's slim design and brushed metal chassis.
It has good looks, but the Nokia E71 has brains too, and is one of the most user friendly smartphones out there. |
