Singapore, March 4, 2009 - Tung Lok Signatures and Hokkaido Sushi Restaurant have been named by readers as their Number 1 Chinese and Japanese restaurants respectively.

This evening, Singapore's leading internet portal, AsiaOne, this evening announced the winners of its inaugural People's Choice Awards, which recognises outstanding achievements and successful branding of products across industries in Asia.

The awards were presented to the winners at News Centre.

The results of the Awards were based entirely on popularity votes across 11 categories decided by a panel from SPH.

Voting commenced in Dec 2008 and over 11,000 votes were cast within two months.
